Gail Posner, Spoiling Her Dog Conchita

Conchita, the pet chihuahua of Gail Posner, is officially the most spoiled dog in the world. Posner left a $3 million trust fund to Conchita and the two of her other pet dogs.

New York Daily News reports that Gail Posner, who was the daughter of business man Victor Posner, gave her dogs lavish presents in the past, including Gold Escalades, diamond necklaces, and weekly trips to the spa, but nothing compares to the $3 million allotted to her pets after her death.

Brett Carr, Gail Posner’s son, only received a million dollars in the will. Carr is fighting the will in court, and is suing Gail Posner’s aides who he says manipulated his mother in her final days to alter her will.

Posner’s staff, including house keepers and body guards, received a lump total of 26 million dollars.

The Danger Behind Fat Embolism

Fat embolism has been a big issue for people and there is just one reason that made it so sensible.

It is the 'House' season finale that has brought this fat embolism search to its height as a woman was trapped underneath the debris and the doctors were left with two options. The first of the options was to wait for the debris to be cleared so that they could whisk her away to the hospital without having to amputate her leg while the second option was to amputate her leg and then whisk her to the hospital. Her leg had to be amputated but it was already too late as the fat embolism had taken over. Later she died due to her fat embolism.

A fat embolism is when fat enters the blood flow and this can happen when there is physical trauma though it is not always a result of physical trauma. When a large bone gets fractured there is always a great possibility that the bone marrow may enter the blood flow and that is a very dangerous situation because as bone marrow is much thicker than the density of blood it has the tendency to get stuck in veins and nerves, in the end behaving like multiple blood clots.

While be taken to the hospital the woman dies due to her fat embolism and that is because the bone marrow by that time had spread too much throughout her body to be controlled. When it enters the arteries of the heart it can clog them hence causing a complication in the circulation of blood and the resultant death.

LA Lakers, Winning It All after the Epic Game 7

After the long hard-fought season, a history in the making play-offs, and ofcourse the epic finals, the it's now over.

The well deserved Los Angeles Lakers are the champions again, winners 83-79 over the Celtics tonight for their second straight NBA title and number 16 in their illustrious franchise history.

It wasn't a dominant Game 7, but there's no doubt that it's classic.

The champions' hardwork pays off as they found a way and have a run to erase a big deficit in the third quarter to beat their biggest rival and win it all.

Phil Jackson's 11th championship, Kobe Bryant's fifth, and maybe the last gasp for the Celtics. Doc Rivers, the Celtics' head coach, might decide it's time for a break, Ray Allen might go elsewhere, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett aren't getting any younger.

Yet, the back to back champions are focusing for another championship, making it three-peat. The Lakers' head coach, Phil Jackson, is not yet decided if he's still going to coach the Lakers for another championship run or is it time to have a break.

Stuart Holden had his Payback from England

Stuart Holden got his sweet revenge from his biggest rival England when USA held the dominant side for and unlikely draw. As scores were tied at 1-1, the American team rejoiced like a victory. The outcome of this fight icreases the hope of the America to make it to the 2nd round.

Stuart Holden was born in Scotand but his family moved to Texas when he was 10. His rivalry against England therefore goes back since the English-American rivalry started as early as the Revolutionary War. In spite of diplomatic relations improving greatly between the two nations there were several speculations doing the rounds about the Americans causing a big upset. The last time that USA defeated England was back in 1950. Though the feat could not be repeated, the draw is also a big achievement considering the vast difference in the skill and experience of the two sides.

The first to score for England was captain Steven Gerrard. The lead however was lost in less than 5 minutes. The resilient American defense ensured that no more goals were scored in the second half. The Americans tried with the likes of Stuart Holden and change of Clint Dempsey’s position in the final moments but they were not that experienced for the English defense.
